			On Feb 12th, the RMCQ went for a visit to the QR Redbank Locomotive Maintenance Depot just west of Brisbane QR made us feel very welcome and we all had a great day. Afterwards some of us went to the local across from the railway station and had a nice counter lunch and some liquid refreshments - all leading to a very satifying day out
			Near the Rebank station you can see plenty of old locos stored for parts and maybe later refurbishment, sitting near the wagon facility. Loco 2387 sits idling waiting to come into the facility. Loco 2481 is already in and being maintained.
			Loco 2481. Loco 2353 and 2312 also waiting to come in. Loco 2481 is on one of the raised lines in the facility allowing easy access from below.
			The next 9 photos are of loco 2481. Here is one of the bogies. Looking at one of the electric motor units. And this is a sensor. You can see the mathcing part in between the rails at most railway stations as well as along the tracks.
